acme-vault-fingerprint
A fingerprint is the first 12 characters of the SHA-256 of a value’s exact bytes; this page never shows a value. Machines can read the same list at /fingerprints.json.
To check a value you hold, save exactly that value in a file and run:
shasum -a 256 < value-file | cut -c1-12Many editors add a newline at the end of a file, and that changes the fingerprint.

- /app/.env
- Read in full: 109 bytes. Every line was understood.Read line by line: the platform writes NAME=value lines without escaping, so a value with line breaks shows as its first line plus unreadable lines.
